Product Details
The Takaheitto spoon is between the Isopieni and the Normitrutta in terms of its size. This lure is very effective throughout the year. Takaheitto swims quite well even at lower speeds, but it can also handle higher speeds. The broad and flashy swimming action remains soft and smooth at all speeds. The lure is most effective with varying retrieve including short stops.
No other lure is as popular among sea trout fishers than E.V. Trutta. The structure of the lightweight spoon was designed by Erkki Virolainen, one of the most highly-appreciated lure makers in Finland.
The handmade lure has a metallic body with brazed rings and attached added weights and lightening. Once the shape of the lure is complete, the lure is finished. The blank is wrapped in foil, painted by hand, and coated with several layers of lacquer. The result is a lure with unique characteristics. The floating, slow descent of the lure when the retrieve stops has particularly proven irresistible to trout.
E.V. Trutta plugs are painted by hand, making each piece a unique work of art. This also makes them popular as collector’s items and gifts.
